Who We Are

The Amyloidosis Support Group of India (ASGI) is the nation’s first dedicated initiative for amyloidosis care. Committed to ensuring that no patient feels isolated, we provide essential support to patients, caregivers, and medical professionals. Through a robust community network, collaborative medical initiatives, and nationwide awareness campaigns, we enhance early diagnosis, drive pioneering research, and improve access to treatment.

What We Do

At ASGI, we are dedicated to establishing a national support network that provides essential resources and connections for patients and their families. We actively advance diagnostic and treatment capabilities by fostering collaboration between healthcare professionals and researchers, ensuring improved care outcomes. Through widespread awareness initiatives, we educate both the public and medical community about amyloidosis, promoting early detection and informed decision-making. Additionally, we advocate for policy reforms, increased funding, and the integration of amyloidosis care into national healthcare programs. Our mission is to make amyloidosis care more accessible, affordable, and patient-centric, ensuring that no individual faces this journey alone.

Our Roots: ASGI & RDSSDF: A Strategic Alliance

ASGI operates under the Ram Dayalu Singh Sustainable Development Foundation (RDSSDF), aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health & Well-being). While RDSSDF focuses on rural development, public health, and social welfare, ASGI is dedicated to amyloidosis awareness, research, patient support, and policy advocacy. This strategic alliance enables a structured, multi-disciplinary approach, led by Dr. Satish Chandra, Founder of RDSSDF and Head of ASGI, ensuring a lasting impact on amyloidosis care in India.
