Paving the Way for Better Amyloidosis Care & Support in India.

A project under RDSSDF’s SDG 3 initiative

Who We Are ?

The Amyloidosis Support Group of India (ASGI) is the nation’s first dedicated initiative for amyloidosis care. Committed to ensuring that no patient feels isolated, we provide essential support to patients, caregivers, and medical professionals. Through a robust community network, collaborative medical initiatives, and nationwide awareness campaigns, we enhance early diagnosis, drive pioneering research, and improve access to treatment.

Vision

ASGI aims to transform amyloidosis care in India by ensuring accessible, affordable, and patient-centered healthcare. We envision early diagnosis, advanced treatment, and strong support networks. Through collaboration, advocacy, and education, we bridge healthcare gaps, drive research, and foster global partnerships to improve patient outcomes.

Mission

Our mission is to build a patient-centered healthcare ecosystem for amyloidosis in India, ensuring affordable and accessible care. We advocate for better treatment, promote early diagnosis through awareness, and support patients and families. Through strategic collaborations and policy engagement, we strive to improve care standards, secure funding, and drive lasting healthcare reforms.

Goal

We advance amyloidosis care through early diagnosis, improved access, and government advocacy. Our patient support initiatives provide peer networks, counselling, and multilingual resources. Through policy engagement, we advocate for prioritisation and global best practices. Our knowledge exchange efforts include expert events and training programs to enhance medical expertise.
